Personnel
We have an outstanding lineup for our rodeo this year!
Announcer - Wayne Wise
Wayne Wise from Dublin, TX, has been a rodeo announcer for the past 38 years. His travels have literally taken him from coast to coast and border to border. Wayne was also fortunate enough to announce rodeos in Paris, France; Anchorage, Alaska; as well as Fairbanks, Alaska.
However, Wayne has a very special place in his heart for rodeos in Utah. "Of all of the places I've been in my career, I truly believe Utah has some of the most enthusiastic and vocal rodeo fans in the game. Big rodeos, little rodeos, and everything between, Utah fans are legit".
Aside from his rodeo career, Wayne is also an accomplished saddle maker and leather artisan. "While I love being behind the microphone, looking out over my pasture tooling leather, is a close second. I'm truly blessed to be able to do the things I love to do, and make a living doing them."
You can see some of Wayne's craftsmanship at www.bullskullz.com.
“Ya'll enjoy the show.”
Music Director - Ted Dwyer
Right from the arena, across the United States, up and down back roads, side roads, dirt roads, to rodeos in one-horse towns to indoor shows.
From getting throwed down, knocked down, mauled around, and just plain hanging around!
With almost 40 years experience in the sport of rodeo, starting with riding rough stock including bareback, saddle bronc, and bull riding.
In 1974 Ted turned to the baggy pants and the football cleats as a rodeo clown and bullfighter working about 35 shows per year for about 10 years. While working as a bullfighter in 1984 at a PRCA rodeo in Hill City, Kansas; a bull from the Dorenkamp Rodeo Co. called "Zorro", also known as Frontier Airlines, ended that career.
After that injury Ted worked on a few movie series, such as Seven Brothers, Little House on the Prairie, Father Murphy, Back to the Future III and The Shadow Riders.
Ted's love for the sport of rodeo kept him involved, working for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association office in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the public relations department. Then Ted moved back to California where he worked for Cotton Rosser's Flying U Rodeo Co.
Music and announcing has always been a part of the sport of rodeo to enhance the mood, action and pageantry of the event.
Whether your listening to Roy Rogers or Chris LeDoux, AC/DC or Lainey Wilson the music plays a big part in the production of the event. Who knows it might even bring back a memory or two.
We hope you enjoy the show!!
Clown & Barrelman - Donnie Landis
Donnie Landis is a fourth-generation rodeo cowboy and has been in the barrel, off and on, for over 50 years. The first time Donnie was in a Rodeo arena he was four years old helping his dad do his clown acts. “I was lucky. Because of my dad, I learned from the “old school,” where a rodeo clown had to do everything – fight bulls, have comedy acts, entertain, and save lives.”
When Donnie was 12 years old he started clowning and fighting bulls at the California Cowboys Association (CCA) rodeos, now known as the C.C.P.R.A.
Donnie turned professional when he was 18! As a professional, Donnie has worked many major rodeos, from as big as the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 1993 and 1995, and as little as McCord Saskatchewan, Canada. Other rodeos Donnie has worked are the Pendleton Round-up, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Reno Rodeo, California Salinas Rodeo, as well as the Calgary Stampede.
In 1996 Donnie started the first miniature bucking bull company in the U.S., Lil’ Bucks Bull Co. In 1997 he formed the Junior Bull Riders tour, otherwise known as the JBR, the first ever youth miniature bull riding association. Since the start of the JBR this extreme sport is in five countries.
Years later and Donnie is still doing what he loves, being a cowboy clown/entertainer. - Photo by Phil Doyle

But Rocking B is more than just a rodeo company; it's a beacon of the western way of life. We invite everyone to share in our love and passion for this rich heritage, promising an unforgettable journey into the heart of the American West. So, saddle up, sit back, and enjoy the ride!
